Undercover Investigations Unit Charges Seven in Cameron

Sheriff Greene’s Special Investigations Unit struck again Friday morning arresting six men and one woman from Cameron for drug related charges. Investigator Mike Clore conducted under-cover activities in which seven people were recorded selling crack cocaine to informants. In response to complaints, the investigation targeted several areas around Cameron in which drugs were reportedly being sold. During the round-up, Milam County Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted by Trooper Sims with the Texas Highway Patrol and Precinct 1 Constable John Anderle.

Warrants were obtained through Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Sam Berry for the arrest of the seven suspected narcotics dealers. All seven subjects were located and are currently being held in the Milam County Jail. The following subject s were charged and are being held

Anthony Lattimore, 38 - with three charges of delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

Viencient Cooks, 40 - with one charge of delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

Dennis Johnson, 45 - with one charge of delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

Kevin Webber, 37 - with two charges of delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

Little J. Brown, 57 - with one charge of delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

Francis Basey, 51 - with one charge of delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

Richard Scott, 23 - with three charges of delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and one charge of delivery of a controlled substance.
