The Walker County Sheriff's Office has released details into a drug bust early this month with more than a hundred thousand dollars worth of plants seized.
The office says it received a tip that an indoor marijuana growing operation was being hidden on a property in the 100 block of McCrory Drive, were two officers conducted surveillance and say they entered the residence.
Inside, they say a 20-year-old man was found with more than 80 marijuana plants and lights used for indoor marijuana farming. Deputies say the home's owner was not home at the time, and that no charges have been filed against either person.
Deputies say the plants were seized as evidence, and all drug-related equipment was taken as well. They say the total value of the seizures is estimated to be $121,500.
