Washed Out Washington County Road Repaired; One More to Go

WASHINGTON COUNTY Repairs have been completed on a Washington County culvert that washed out a portion of a road.

Two weeks ago, heavy rains severely damaged a portion of FM 1155 in the Old Washington area near Brown Tavern, but as of 1:00 p.m. Friday, Texas Department of Transportation crews has finished their repairs between FM 912 and FM 2726 at Due Run Creek.

There was also slope failure on the same road, but that has also been fixed.

Next up for crews will be work on FM 2193 between Highway 105 and FM 1155, also in Washington County, which suffered damage to a drainage structure.

TxDOT originally estimated the roads could be out for several months.
