He's a self-proclaimed "movie buff" and loves the outdoors, but a 12-year-old boy named Davien who's in foster care is searching for a forever family.
When you go see an IMAX Movie, it's all about the IMAX experience. But on this day, Davien, who calls himself a movie buff got an experience most don't get. We took a special trip to the Premier IMAX Theater in Bryan and learned everything there is to know about the special cameras that customize and deliver the movies that make you feel like you're part of the action.
After our tour we ordered some sweets and popcorn and got comfy for our showing of "Frozen." When he's not watching movies, 12-year-old Davien says he loves being outside and playing sports. He especially loves playing...
"I like to play football, soccer and basketball," Davien said.
In fact he says when he grows up he wants to be a, "football player." But one thing that Davien wants most is a forever family. He says the perfect mother it would be: "a good cooker," Davien said.
And he would love a father who will play sports with him. He's been in foster care for several years and says, "I want a big family."
A big family who will support him and show him what it's like to always stick together.
