A Washington County officials arrested a woman they say was driving drunk this past weekend and she along with two of her passengers were taken to jail.
The woman was pulled over by a Washington County Sheriff's deputy on Highway 36 north of Geers Road early Sunday morning. With the assistance of a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper, Andrea Arroyo was arrested and charged with DWI.
Riding in the vehicle with Arroyo was a child, which makes Arroyo's DWI charge a state jail felony. The child was released into the custody of two other adults who were notified by authorities.
In addition to Andrea Arroyo, two 25-year-old male passengers. Authorities say they were also drunk and also arrested. Ranferi Arroyo and Ruben Arroyo were charged with public intoxication.
