Zumba Dance Party Raises Money For CSISD Education Foundation

It's dancing with a purpose in College Station.

Dozens of ladies were dancing some Zumba at the Aggieland Fitness Dome in College Station to burn some calories but also to raise money for the College Station Education Foundation.

The two hour Zumba Party proceeds will go towards teacher grants in CSISD.

They raised $400.

"Yes it's a Latin-based dance fitness party class you don't have to have any dance background to be able to do it," said Kristen Lipscomb, a Zumba Instructor at Aggieland Fitness Dome.

Some of the dance styles included salsa, hip hop, and even merengue.
