Posted: 9:02 AM On June 10, 2012, Deputy Everton with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling Highway 59 in the Splendora area when he noticed a commercial passenger bus that had a defective right tail lamp. After stopping the vehicle Deputy Everton deployed his partner K-9 partner Ranger and Ranger immediately jumped inside the luggage area alerting to an area inside the bus. The deputy found inside the bus a hidden compartment with 7,261 grams of packaged cocaine, 3,355 grams of heroin and 89 grams of black tar heroin.
