THE WOODLANDS Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a robbery at a Woodlands jewelry store.

On Monday night, deputies were called out to the Jared's Jewelry Store in the 1400 block of Lake Woodlands Drive. They discovered that five people had robbed the store wearing hazmat suits. Investigators determined the suspects walked in the front door, were in the store for 1-2 minutes, then fled out the back door in a white SUV that was parked at a nearby gas station.

The suspects broke several glass display cases while taking jewelry. At least one of the suspects had a handgun. All five of the suspects are believed to be black or Hispanic males, although other descriptors are vague, according to investigators.
