College Station police had to break a window to get an alleged drunk driver out from behind the wheel early Sunday morning.
Just after 4 a.m., officers found 21-year-old Blake Andrew Jones passed out, behind the wheel, of his running truck at the intersection of Holleman Drive and Wellborn Road, with his foot on the brake.
According to the arrest report, Jones didn't respond to officers knocking on his window, yelling, shining light in his face and shaking the vehicle. During the attempts to waking him up, Jones' foot slipped off the brake and his truck rolled forward into a College Station PD patrol car.
Officers eventually had to break the window to get him out.
When he came to, he told officers he had been drinking didn't remember how he got there. Jones is in jail and being charged with Driving While Intoxicated, First Offense.
