Teen Arrested for Allegedly Attacking Roommate with Butcher Knife

COLLEGE STATION College Station officers say an 18-year-old allegedly attacked his roommate with a butcher knife early Friday morning.

Around 2 a.m., officers arrived at the Doux Chene Apartments off Harvey Mitchell Parkway after a report of two people being stabbed. When officers got there, they found the victim as well as the suspect, 18-year-old Jose Munoz, had been cut with a knife.

According to the police report, the victim was a roommate of Munoz. They got in a physical altercation. Munoz then got a butcher knife from the kitchen and went into the victims room. The victim told police Munoz threatened to kill him. That's when the victim tried to get the knife away from Munoz.

The victim had superficial cuts to his chest. Munoz had a cut on his hand. He was taken to the College Station Medical Center.

Munoz was then arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
