ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) - Computer maker Dell says Don Carty, the
chief financial officer hired a year and a half ago to help lead
the company's turnaround plan, has resigned.
He be replaced by Brian Gladden, chief executive of SABIC,
formerly known as GE Plastics.
Round Rock, Texas-based Dell Inc. said Monday Gladden will join
the company May 20 as senior vice president, and assume the CFO
role on June 13.
Carty, a former chairman of American Airlines, has been CFO
