Hostages Say Thank You

By: Associated Press

Three Americans held hostage and freed in Colombia last week had a chance Monday to say thank you to those who rescued them from Colombian rebels.

During a yellow ribbon ceremony held in their honor at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Thomas Howes, Marc Gonsalvez and Keith Stansell walked out on stage together hugging one another and holding the American flag.

Each of the men took the podium separately with their family members, all giving thanks to the American and Colombian governments and to those who helped them get home safely.
