Stocks Plunge After Obama Win

One day after being elected and Barack Obama is already bringing about change. But probably not the way he had hoped for.

Wall Street responded to Obama's win with its largest ever decline on a day following a presidential contest. The Dow, S&P and Nasdaq all fell more than five points. The slide more than wiped out the previous day's advance.

The previous post-presidential election low was set the day after the 2000 race when the contest between George W. Bush and Al Gore was still undecided.
