RECIFE, Brazil (AP) - An Air France memo shows the airline is
replacing instruments that help measure airspeed on medium- and
long-haul Airbus jets.
Investigators have said that incorrect speed readings may be a
possible cause of Sunday's Airbus crash that killed all 228 people
aboard.
Meanwhile, French and Brazilian officials are disagreeing about
whether any pieces of Air France Flight 447 have been found in the
Atlantic. French searchers say they've spotted nothing, and can't
even be sure where the doomed flight went down.
