Fight Leads to Stabbing

Officials with the Bryan Police Department tell News 3 a man has been treated and released from St.Joseph Hospital following an incident in the 2400 block of Old Kurten Road in Bryan. Police say sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Friday several people got into an altercation, and one man was stabbed. The victim received medical treatment for non-life threatening cuts on his arm, and ribcage.

Witnesses told police they did not recall seeing a knife in the scuffle, but at one point the victim may have fallen on a mailbox. Police say its unclear how the victim sustained his injuries.
