The American Kennel Club announces the most popular dog breeds, is your four-legged friend a top dog?
For the 19th year in a row, the Labrador Retriever tops the American Kennel Club's list of most popular breeds.
An AKC Spokesperson says, "Labs have been America’s top dog for nearly two decades due to their loyal and gentle nature."
The other breeds topping the list of the most popular pooches: German Shepherd, Yorkshire Terrier, Golden Retriever, Beagle, Boxer, Bulldog, Dachshund, Poodle and rounding out the top ten, the Shih Tzu.
