WASHINGTON (AP) - Help is on the way for Toyota dealers who've
had to keep a lot of their inventory on the lot, unsold, because of
faulty gas pedals.
The automaker says dealers should get parts to fix the problem
by the end of the week. It's started training dealers on how to
make the repairs.
Toyota has recalled 4.2 million cars and trucks worldwide
because gas pedal systems may stick. The company says the problem
Government regulators told Toyota last week that they were
satisfied with the repair plan.
