LOS ANGELES (AP) - A spokeswoman for Michael Jackson's doctor says he will surrender Friday, expecting to be charged with involuntary manslaughter in the singer's death.

She says the doctor has been ready since Tuesday to surrender to authorities and if he's not charged, he'll return to Houston where he has a practice.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says Murray's arraignment will not take place Friday

Attorney Ed Chernoff said in a statement on his Web site late Thursday that Dr. Conrad Murray had agreed to surrender.
