WASHINGTON (AP) - Toyota's president is telling a congressional
hearing there is no problem with the electronics of Toyota
vehicles, despite suggestions to the contrary from some safety
experts.

Akio Toyoda says he is "absolutely confident" that the
electronics of Toyota's gas pedal systems are not the source of
problems with Toyota vehicles speeding out of control.

Meanwhile, Toyota supplier Denso Corp. says the FBI and
Department of Justice have raided its Michigan headquarters as part
of an antitrust investigation. A Denso spokeswoman says the company
is cooperating with the investigation. She says it's unrelated to
Toyota's recent recalls.
