OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma Police have arrested a 19-year-old man after authorities found a body in a vehicle near a northwest Oklahoma City intersection.
Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow says officers responding to a welfare check Wednesday night found the body inside of a vehicle. Wardlow says the victim had trauma to his body consistent with homicide.
The victim's name hasn't been released, and authorities say the state medical examiner's office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Witnesses told police that they saw a man running from the scene. Police arrested a 19-year-old suspect at a nearby convenience store, but authorities are still investigating what led to the death.
