SANFORD, Fla. (AP) George Zimmerman is going to have to stay away from his girlfriend's house, and refrain from any contact with her.
Those are among the conditions set by a judge in Florida today who set bond at $9,000 in Zimmerman's domestic violence case. He's facing charges including aggravated assault, which could bring up to five years in prison if he's convicted.
Zimmerman's girlfriend accuses him of pointing a gun at her, but Zimmerman denies it.
A prosecutor said the girlfriend fears for her life, saying Zimmerman mentioned suicide and said he "had nothing to lose." Defense lawyers say he doesn't appear to be suicidal.
The prosecutor also says Zimmerman's girlfriend claims he choked her about a week ago but she didn't report it to police at the time.
