PHILADELPHIA (AP) The daughter of the demolition contractor involved in the Philadelphia building collapse that killed six people says her father is "devastated" about what happened.

Dominique Lee answered the door at Griffin Campbell's home in North Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon.

She identified herself as Campbell's daughter and said he wasn't home but he "is devastated. He's mourning the loss of those people just like everyone else."

She says her father has a lawyer but declined to provide the attorney's name.

City inspectors say Campbell had proper permits for the work being done on the building.

Records show he pleaded guilty in an insurance fraud case in 2009 and was acquitted of aggravated assault and related offenses in 2007. Campbell has also filed for bankruptcy protection twice since 2010.
