A Kiowa County jury has convicted a Hobart man of first-degree murder and shooting with intent to kill.
The Lawton Constitution reported (http://bit.ly/13xcwuD ) that the jury deliberated less than an hour before finding 31-year-old Jordan Michael Heathco guilty of the Jan. 4, 2011, shooting death of Keith Zotigh.
Heathco had pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
Prosecutors say Heathco was at a home in Hobart when he stood up and shot Zotigh five times - then opened fire on another man in the home.
Heathco then drove to the county sheriff's office where authorities say he told officers that he had "killed several people."
