Louisiana residents are buckling down, preparing to ride out the rest of Hurricane Isaac as it comes ashore.

Dean Walton, a Harvey, Louisiana resident, spoke to Brazos Valley This Morning by phone Wednesday morning. Harvey is about one mile south of New Orleans.

He reports a large tree was blown over onto his house, causing some damage to a back bedroom. Walton also said the winds were changing direction rapidly.
