DALLAS (AP) - Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport officials have evacuated a portion of Terminal D because of a suspicious package.
The Dallas Morning News reports that the package was first discovered around 11:15 a.m. near gate D23.
Airport spokesman David Magana says bomb-sniffing dogs and other security measures are being used in the ongoing investigation.
A strange noise coming from an overnight drop box at Terminal D initially sparked the concern.
