The Santa Fe courthouse has been evacuated and 19 people isolated after a court clerk found white powder in an envelope addressed to a judge.
The evacuation Tuesday morning comes two days after the fourth floor of the state Capitol was evacuated Monday afternoon when what turned out to be a harmless substance was found in mail to Gov. Susana Martinez.
Authorities say the letter found Tuesday morning at the courthouse was addressed to state District Judge Stephen Pfeffer.
Santa Fe County Sheriff Robert Garcia says 19 courthouse workers have been isolated while the substance is tested.
