DAVIS, Okla.- A light mixture of snow and ice on Interstate 35 in the Arbuckle Mountains in southern Oklahoma is blamed for at least one traffic fatality along Interstate 35 and up to 40 separate crashes.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol report says a Dallas man was killed about 6:50 a.m. on Monday when he lost control of the sport utility vehicle he was driving northbound on the interstate in Love County and rolled down the embankment.

The Texas man's name was not immediately released.
