NEW YORK Stocks are higher on Wall Street as the stock market closes in on its sixth straight week of gains.
Major U.S. indexes are pushing further into record territory as traders remain hopeful that the Federal Reserve will continue its easy-money policies under incoming chief Janet Yellen.
The S&P 500 is on pace to close higher for the week, marking its longest winning streak since February.
