Stock futures indexes are mixed as investors are waiting to find out what Apple plans to do with the enormous pile of cash it has amassed on the way to becoming the most valuable publicly traded company in the world.

Apple Inc. is expected to reveal before the market opens what it plans to do with its $97.6 billion in cash and securities. Many analysts expect it will pay a dividend.

The National Association of Home Builders will release its March housing market index Monday afternoon.

In premarket trading Dow Jones industrial average futures fell 17 points to 13,146 and the broader Standard & Poor's 500 futures fell 2 points to 1,396.50. But Nasdaq 100 futures rose 5 points to 2,714.
