OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI The generators are running.
The party is getting started. Aggies from all over got into Oxford Mississippi Friday with one thing in mind: football.
"It's awesome," said Mike Hamby, Class of 1994.
"It's so much better being in the SEC. The venues in the Big 12, there really weren't any away games that I wanted to go to," he continued.
On campus, the grove is getting ready for fans to claim their spot. The land grab happens late Friday night. Maroon and white slowly trickled onto campus.
But for those tailgating, traditions run strong.
"This is our second year to tailgate to all the Aggie games.," said Hamby.
And it's not all RVs. Hamby and his friends use a one bed horse trailer to tailgate.
It might not smell the best or be spacious, but it's a place to lay your head and watch the Aggies play.
