HOUSTON (AP) Houston police are looking for three gunmen after a Denny's restaurant holdup left a customer shot to death and an employee wounded.
Police spokesman John Cannon said Tuesday that the shootings happened during a robbery. Cannon says the wounded man died at a hospital. His name wasn't immediately released.
Cannon had no immediate details on the male employee who was also shot Monday night when three armed men wearing masks and gloves entered the restaurant. The gunmen forced everyone to the floor and took wallets, cellphones and other valuables from the victims and cash from the registers.
Police say at least one gunman opened fire in the restaurant before the trio fled to a minivan and drove away.
Houston police are reviewing surveillance video from the business.
