The body of a swimmer missing on Lake Conroe has been recovered.
Just after eight Tuesday morning, lake patrol found the body of Gerald Ellison, Jr. of Houston.
Texas EquuaSearch along with teams from Texas Parks and Wildlife and Montgomery County assisted with the search.
Investigators say Ellison was with a group of friends when he disappeared Saturday, after jumping off of a pontoon boat.
Shortly after entering the water, authorities say the friends heard Ellison yelling for help. A life-jacket was thrown to Ellison, but he never took it and he never re-surfaced.
Ellison's body has been sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiners office for autopsy.
