University Drive from Wellborn to Hwy. 6 ranked 58th in the list of most congested roadways in the state. It's estimated that over 300,000 hours were wasted waiting in traffic on the route.
The most congested roadway in Texas for 2009 was found to be in Houston. I-45 from SL 8 North to I-610 caused over 4.5 million hours of delay last year.
