LINDEN, Texas (AP) - Authorities have found the body of a 37-year-old Tyler man wanted in the death of a Texas state trooper.

A Texas Department of Public Safety spokeswoman says Brandon Wayne Robertson died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

His body was found yesterday off a rural road in Cass County, near Morris Lake.

Robertson was named in a capital murder warrant in the slaying of DPS Trooper James Scott Burns Tuesday night after a car chase near Lake O' The Pines in East Texas.
