Police have ID'd possible sexual assault victims from video

AUSTIN (AP) - Police said they have identified three children
and two women in a video that appears to show them being assaulted
by an Austin businessman who is also a court-appointed children's
advocate.
Austin police Chief Art Acevedo says the assaults involving the
adults happened outside Travis County. He said investigators have
notified police in those areas.
The videotape allegedly shows 53-year-old Billy Dan Carroll
having sex with kids ranging in age from 3 to 15, and two adult
women who appeared to be unconscious.
Carroll remained jailed in Travis County on a bond of $2
million. He was charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault
of a child in a May 17 incident involving an 8-year-old girl. A
message left by The Associated Press for his lawyer yesterday was
not returned.
Carroll has been a volunteer children's advocate since 2004.
Officials at Court-Appointed Special Advocates of Travis County
suspended Carroll last week after learning of the allegations.
