Executions to Resume in Huntsville Tuesday

Texas will resume its executions Tuesday, this after the Supreme Court ruled lethal injections are not cruel and unusual punishment.

A number of states put its executions on hold to allow the high court to rule.

Derrick Sonnier will be executed in Huntsville. He was convicted of raping, strangling and beating to death a Humble woman he had been stalking, then stabbing the woman's two year old son to death in 1991.

Sonnier is one of three executions scheduled for this month.
