AUSTIN (AP) - Investigators say they have video footage of a
suspect standing in front of the Governor's Mansion, igniting an
object and throwing it onto the porch of the historic landmark
setting off a blaze that damaged much of the building.
State Fire Marshal Paul Maldonado says the on site investigation
into the weekend fire has concluded. Arson has been confirmed as
the cause.
Officials have not yet identified the suspect, but are working
to enhance video surveillance footage. Maldonado says investigators
also are following up on several other leads in the case.
