The March 2005 accident killed 15 workers and injured more than 170 people.

The Houston Chronicle reports the plaintiffs, six men and four of their wives, reached deals overnight in testimony as the Houston trial comes to an end. Four plaintiffs remain in the civil trial of the British oil giant.

The plaintiffs rested Monday and BP will present its defense.

Still in the case are 26-year-old Luis Garcia, 57-year-old Esteban Huerta, 50-year-old Charles Pinder and 42-year-old Olivia Palton.

The amounts of the latest settlements were not disclosed. BP says there are 19 pending claims out of 4,000 filed since the 2005
