EL PASO, Texas (AP) - A Fort Bliss soldier considered missing
and endangered has been found hurt -- but alive.
The husband of 29-year-old Private First Class Jeneesa Lewis is
jailed today in El Paso in the investigation.
A spokeswoman for the post says Lewis was treated overnight and
released. Further details on her injuries weren't announced by the
But her sister, Tammy Skelton of Rogersville, Tennessee, says
she talked to Lewis early today by phone, and the soldier says she
was beaten and stabbed twice.
Skelton says the soldier was planning to leave her husband of
