DALLAS (AP) - A Dallas police officer who said he was taken
hostage by a masked man in a robbery is being charged with planning
and taking part in the failed heist.
Dallas police today said that Officer Alph Coleman was charged
with aggravated robbery for his alleged role in a June 27 attempted
robbery of a Sam's Club.
A jail spokesman said Coleman was in custody at the Lew Sterrett
Justice Center on a $50,000 bond for the aggravated robbery
It wasn't immediately clear if Coleman had an attorney.
He has been placed on administrative leave.
