SHERMAN, Texas (AP) - An Allen man must serve two years in
federal prison and repay more than $314,000 in a fake postage meter
scam.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says 29-year-old Vincent Wing-Shing
Wong was sentenced Thursday by a federal judge in Sherman.
Wong in February pleaded guilty to printing and using
counterfeit postage meter stamps.
Prosecutors say Wong from 2001 through November 2007 acquired
stolen items, sold them on eBay and the used fake postage stamps to
mail the merchandise.
