A would-be pilot is sought after an aircraft that was stolen in
Killeen wiped out some mailboxes before crashing early today.
Killeen police say two men are sought over the ultralight
incident.
Police were summoned after the experimental aircraft, taken from
Killeen's Skylark Air Field, ended up damaged on the ground. Police
believe the aircraft hit several mailboxes.
Witnesses reported seeing two people run from the scene.
The owner of the aircraft, when notified about the crash, said
he had not given permission for anyone to fly the light sport
aircraft.
