Ike Housing Still A Problem

It's been two months since Hurricane Ike slammed parts of Southeast Texas -- and housing is still a challenge.

FEMA Administrator David Paulison and Homeland Security
Secretary Michael Chertoff this month visited Southeast Texas,
promising to get trailers more quickly to residents.

A FEMA spokesman says local zoning regulations and getting waivers
allowing trailers to be placed in floodplains have slowed the process.
