At least four people have been hurt in a fiery explosion at an oil refinery in Tyler. The cause of the Thursday accident at the Delek Refinery is still unknown.

Rebecca Berkley with East Texas Medical Center in Tyler says the three victims were critically injured.

John Moore of Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler said the facility received one injured man. His condition was not immediately available.

Fire Department Capt. Jeff Aiken says a loud explosion was reported this afternoon. The refinery employs about 270 people and has a capacity of about 60,000 barrels per day.
