Bryan and College Station are going to be spreading the holiday cheer in their 82nd annual Christmas Parade on Sunday.
At 2 pm, the parade will begin at University Drive and Polo Road.
The specific parade route can be seen on www.bcsparade.com. It will head east on University Drive to Texas Avenue and then travel north on Texas to near Sulphur Springs Road in Bryan.
The parade will feature floats from around the Brazos Valley and even the City of Grapevine. Bands, floats, kids and Santa will all be travelling in the parade.
This year's parade is expected to be one of the largest.
The following streets will be closed for the parade:
--New Main Drive toward campus at the East Entrance to TAMU: 11am
--New Main Drive exiting campus: Noon
--East side of Bizell Circle on TAMU Campus: 1pm
--University Drive from Texas Avenue to South College: 1:30pm (side streets will also be closed)
--Texas Avenue from University Drive, North to Sulphur Springs: 1:30pm (side streets will also be closed)
Parking Area 50 and 51 on Campus will be closed to traffic beginning at 8am.
