The mother of infamous Branch Davidian leader David Koresh was stabbed to death and her sister is charged with her slaying.
60-year-old Bonnie Clark Haldeman was found Friday afternoon at the home of her sister, 54-year-old Beverly Clark.
Authorities say the case is under investigation.
Clark is being held without bond on a murder charge in the county jail in Henderson County pending a court appearance.
Jail officials say she did not yet have an attorney.
It was in 1993 that agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms planned a surprise raid on the Koresh-led Branch Davidian compound near Waco.
That led to a 51 day standoff, where in the end, the complex caught fire and burned to the ground, killing Koresh and nearly 80 of his followers, including about two dozen children.
