3 Dozen Vehicles Found Burglarized in Beaumont

BEAUMONT, Texas - A string of at least three dozen auto burglaries has police in Southeast Texas looking for several suspects.

Beaumont police say all of the burglaries were discovered Friday morning. Investigators say a pistol was reported stolen from one vehicle.

An officer who was on patrol near a school observed at least 20 vehicles with the doors and trunks open. Police say all 36 vehicles that were burglarized did not have their doors locked.

Police are reviewing security video from the school that shows three possible suspects in the area.
