A recent rash of bank robberies in The Woodlands shows no sign of slowing down.

The latest took place Friday at 5:40 pm at the Woodforest National Bank, #7 Switchbud Place.

As was the case in a least one of the other robberies, the suspect is a white male in his early to mid 20's. He wore a black leather coat with a black hoodie under it, and a cap pulled down over his eyes. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash after threatening the teller with a gun.

This was the fifth bank robbery in 30 days in The Woodlands. If you have any information about these crimes, call Montgomery County Crime Stoppers at 800-392-STOP.
