If you haven't registered to vote in the May election, you only have a few days to do so.
The deadline is this Thursday April 9.
While there are no statewide propositions on the ballot this time around, many cities, school districts and local entities will be holding elections.
Individuals who have yet to register may obtain an application form several county offices, many post offices, libraries, or from the VOTEXAS web site: www.votexas.org.
You can also check your registrations status on the website or you can call 1-800-252-VOTE.
