FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas -- KVUE.com is reporting that a traffic stop in Fayette Co. led to the arrest of a would-be drug trafficker and the confiscation of 455 lbs of marijuana.

Fayette Co. Sheriff Keith Korenek reported Friday that Deputy Randy Thumann and Lobos, a K9 partner pulled over a pickup truck pulling a trailer on I-10 near Flatonia for a traffic violation.

The driver of the truck said he was transporting goats from Laredo to Houston to sell. The deputy became suspicious and obtained consent to search the trailer. He found a "false floor" and inside were 91 bundles of marijuana, which weighed about 455 lbs.

The driver, Eric Luedke, aged 25, has been arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana 50-2,000 pounds. The truck, trailer and goats have been seized.
